About FreeCell

Put your strategy to the test in classic FreeCell Solitaire. All 52 cards start face up across eight columns, so every move is yours to plan. Build descending sequences in alternating colours, use the four free cells to temporarily park cards, and move each suit to its foundation from Ace to King. Keep space open and think ahead to clear the table.

How to play

Your goal is to move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles, building each suit from Ace to King. Every card starts face up across eight columns, so you can plan your moves before you begin.

Build the columns downward in alternating colours: for example, place a black 7 on a red 8. Only an exposed card, or an exposed correctly ordered sequence, can be moved. Each of the four free cells can hold one card temporarily. An empty column can hold any card or a valid sequence.

The number of cards you can move together depends on your empty free cells and spare empty columns. More open spaces let you move longer sequences; when moving into an empty column, that destination does not count as a spare space.

Drag cards to a legal destination, or tap a card to let the game try an available move. Use Hint when you need an idea and Undo to rethink a move. Keep free cells available, uncover low cards and build the foundations steadily until the table is clear.
