Algerian Solitaire
Two decks, eight foundations and a fresh challenge for your solitaire skills.
About Algerian Solitaire
Discover Algerian Patience, a two-deck solitaire game where four foundations build up from Ace to King and four build down from King to Ace, all by suit. Plan your moves across the tableau and reserve piles as you work to move every card to the foundations. Choose from three difficulty levels and four table themes, with hints when you need a nudge and undo available on Easy and Medium.
How to play
Move all 104 cards from two decks to the eight foundations. Four foundations build upward from Ace to King, and four build downward from King to Ace, always by suit. Each group of four must contain one foundation for each suit.
Play exposed cards from the eight columns and the top card of each of the six reserve piles. You cannot place cards onto the reserves yourself. Tap the stock to deal one additional card to each reserve while cards remain; newly dealt cards cover the previous reserve cards. Any card can fill an empty column.
Column-building rules depend on difficulty. Easy allows adjacent ranks in either direction with alternating colours, such as a red 6 on a black 7 or black 5. Medium allows adjacent ranks in either direction, but only within the same suit. In both modes, matching groups can be moved together. Hard builds downward by suit and allows only single-card moves.
Drag cards to a legal column or foundation, or tap an exposed card to send it to an available foundation. Use Hint when you need a suggestion. Easy offers unlimited Undo, Medium allows five undos, and Hard disables Undo. Preserve empty columns and check your available reserve cards before dealing again.
