Eight Off Solitaire
A strategic solitaire with eight reserve cells: every card is dealt face up, so careful planning wins.
About Eight Off Solitaire
Eight Off Solitaire deals the whole deck face up into eight columns of six cards, with the last four cards waiting in eight reserve cells. Nothing is hidden, so every deal is a puzzle of planning: park cards in the cells, build long same-suit runs and send all four suits home from Ace to King. Three rule variants and three scenic tables keep it fresh.
How to play
Eight Off Solitaire uses one deck. Forty-eight cards are dealt face up into eight columns of six, and the remaining four cards start in four of the eight reserve cells. Your goal is to move all 52 cards to the four foundations, building each one up in suit from Ace to King.
In the columns you build down in the same suit: a 6 of hearts goes on a 7 of hearts. Each reserve cell holds a single card, and any card from the bottom of a column can be parked there. Only a King may fill an empty column.
You can move a same-suit run together as long as it is no longer than the number of empty reserve cells plus one, so keep cells free for big moves. Drag cards where you want them, or tap a card to send it to a matching spot. Cards that can safely go to the foundations move there automatically, and Undo is always available.
In the settings you can choose Relaxed, where columns build down in alternating colours, any card may fill an empty column and empty columns let you move longer runs, or Restricted, where you may move only one card at a time. Three scenic tables let you change the mood.
