Forty Thieves Solitaire
Master two decks, ten columns and eight foundations in the classic Forty Thieves challenge.
About Forty Thieves Solitaire
Forty Thieves Solitaire challenges you to move two decks onto eight foundations, building each suit from Ace to King. Work through ten face-up columns one card at a time and make the most of a stock that can only be used once. Choose classic same-suit play or try the Relaxed and Streets variations on phones and computers.
How to play
Move all 104 cards from two decks onto the eight foundations. Each foundation starts with an Ace and builds upward to King in the same suit. Ten columns begin with four face-up cards each; the other 64 cards form the stock.
In classic Forty Thieves, build columns downward by one rank in the same suit: place the 6 of Clubs on the 7 of Clubs, for example. Any card may fill an empty column. Move only one exposed top card at a time; ordered groups cannot be moved together. Cards placed on foundations cannot be moved back.
Draw one card from the stock onto the waste. Only the exposed waste card is available to play onto a column or foundation. You can go through the stock once; there is no redeal, so consider every waste card before drawing again.
Tap or drag cards to legal destinations and use Undo to rethink a move. Settings offers Relaxed, which builds downward regardless of suit, and Streets, which builds downward in alternating colours. Changing the variation starts a new deal. Keep columns open, uncover low cards and build foundations steadily; New deal starts over.
