About Spider Solitaire

Clear eight complete runs from King to Ace in the spider solitaire game loved by millions. Choose one, two or four suits, untangle ten columns of cards and enjoy a relaxed, elegant table.

How to play

Spider Solitaire is played with two decks dealt into ten columns, with only the top card of each column face up. The rest of the cards form the stock. Your goal is to build complete runs from King down to Ace in the same suit — every finished run is removed to the foundation, and you win by clearing all eight runs.

Any face-up card can go on a card one rank higher, whatever the suit. However, only runs of the same suit move together, so building in suit keeps your options open. Any card or run can be placed into an empty column, and a newly exposed face-down card turns over automatically.

Tap the stock to deal one new card onto every column. You must fill every empty column before dealing, and there are no redeals once the stock is empty, so deal only when you are ready.

Tap a card to move it automatically, or drag it where you want it. Your score starts at 500: each move costs 1 point and every completed run earns 100. Choose one, two or four suits at the start — fewer suits make a gentler game. Undo is there when you need it.
