About Yukon Solitaire

Yukon Solitaire deals the whole deck into seven columns — there is no stock pile, so every card is in play from the very start. Build down in alternating colours, pick up any face-up card together with everything on top of it even when the group is not in order, and free the hidden cards to open new moves. Three rule variants and three gold-rush scenes keep every deal fresh.

How to play

Yukon Solitaire uses one deck dealt into seven columns. The first column holds a single face-up card; the other columns hold face-down cards topped by five face-up cards. There is no stock — every card is on the table from the start. Your goal is to build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King.

In the columns you build down in alternating colours: a red 9 goes on a black 10. You can pick up any face-up card together with every card on top of it, even if those cards are not in order, as long as the bottom card lands on a card one rank higher of the opposite colour. When a face-down card is uncovered it turns over automatically.

Only a King, or a group headed by a King, may fill an empty column. Drag cards where you want them, or tap a card to send it to a matching spot. Undo is always available, and once every card is face up and can be removed in order, the game can finish the foundations automatically.

In the settings you can switch to Alaska, where you build in the same suit up or down by one rank, or to Relaxed, where any card may fill an empty column. Three gold-rush scenes — Gold Rush Camp, Aurora Lake and Klondike Lodge — let you change the mood.
